Why this Workshop?

We SDA’s are passionate about preaching the gospel. But the way we explain it doesn’t often make sense to today’s Tik-Tok Generations.

This Live workshop fixes that by showing you how to:

  • Explain the gospel in a way that makes sense to younger generations.

  • Use their own language and values to get them excited about Jesus.

  • Ignite a fire in youth for the gospel by showing how it speaks to the real world they live in today!

Who is this for?

• Pastors and lay preachers who want gospel messages that land with today’s young & “always online” generation.

• Youth/young-adult leaders planning Bible studies, preaching series, or small groups

• Bible instructors and teachers who work at SDA academies, highschools, or youth Sabbath school

• Church planters and missional leaders who want to reach young people for Jesus

• Parents & members who want to talk about Jesus with kids & teens without losing them in the first 2 minutes

What you’ll learn

  • The Story-Arc Gospel Framework

Discover how to preach or talk about the good news of Jesus in a way that is simple, easy to follow, and super relevant for younger listeners.

  • Contextualization for Tik-Tok Minds

You don’t need to be young and hip to connect with youth. You just need to show you care about their world. Learn how to do just that with the power of “contextualization”.

  • The Relevance Bridge

Unlock the step by step model that starts with the tensions youth already feel and then connects each of them to the good news of Jesus.

  • Trauma-Informed Gospel Teaching

Learn how to talk about repentance, obedience, and surrender without re-activating spiritual wounds that make young people run away from church.

  • Jesus at the Centre

Discover the three foundations that keep Jesus naturally and effortlessly central in your preaching and teaching so you can point youth to Jesus in everything you say.

  • From Monologue to Dialogue

Access simple frameworks, questions, and scripts you can use this Sabbath to get your youth engaged in exploring and discovering the power of the gospel for themselves.
